INTERVIEWS

I conducted user-interviews with 4 key leaders in the Downtown Santa Monica organization which manages the Santa Monica Promenade. During this interview, I inquired about pain points, possibilities, and existing practices.

At the end of the interview I showed them the version one prototype that I designed that was focused on calculating covid risk and offering mobility options. This meeting helped me pivot to a pedestrian focused app that integrates with the needs of the local businesses who are suffering and the users of the promenade that are way finding.

Based on the Desktop Research, User-Interviews, Surveys, and Stakeholder Interviews; an ideal product user named Cassie Cordera emerged to inform the prototype design.
